He’s got some pretty funky graphic design, web design and consulting services on offer. Good stuff.

Update: D’Arcy’s at it too with the Wuhan WP theme… and I forgot to mention Stephen who now has different themes available at will (just click on theme in the top right)… blimey.

Hey, I’m pretty tired but pretty excited about redesigning / relaunching IncSub, check out the new site here( feedback more than welcome, am still twiddling with bits!)

There’s awhole host of cool things happening with it now, in particular IncSub Hosting & IncSub Associates, more on the associates front soon but taken from the first post on the new site:

“We’re still very much supporting teachers, trainers and researchers who would like to use weblogs, wikis, CMSs and other open source software but have expanded, out of demand and the fact that it’d be nice to be able to cover the server costs here, to offering IncSub hosting and designs as well.

The idea is that, by providing unlimited mysql databases (pretty much every hosting account you can find limits these) you can essentially set up a blogging / wiki / CMS / open source service or sandpit for an entire school, institution or organisation. Kindof a ‘your own IncSub’ approach, supported by someone (i.e. me) who has set exactly this kind of thing up.”

If you’re interested get in touch (I even have a swanky new contact form :o) and I’ll give any incorporated subversion readers their first month for free :o)

Fantastic, Scriptygoddess posts an updated ‘subscribe to comments’ plugin for WP1.5.

It’s installed here no worries and I’ve also fixed it up on IncSub blogs. The two best things about it are that syubscribers can now manage their subscriptions and there’s a little php function’ comment_subscription_status()’ which allow you to see who has and has not subscribed to the comments feeds. Ace!

One week to go to finish Blogtalk papers… I’m not panicking, no not me… ah.

My partner flicking through the paper found that the excellent Council for Adult Education in Melbourne are doing an ‘Introduction to Blogging’ course by Lissa Kennedy (who doesn’t appear to have a blog… tell me if you do!)

Things just keep getting better in world WordPress… over 100,000 downloads of WordPress 1.5 and now Robert from infOpinions gets a WordPress aggregator up and running. Very cool… am pondering how much this adds to feed2js though? I guess it could be a kinda Edu_RSS for each of us (although whether that’s a good idea or not I’m unsure…)

Keeping up the business blogging / blog policy idea (is it about time that I got some categories… naw, I’ve got search and I’m pretty predictable in my vocabulary) can I echo the praise for Random Acts of Reality’s How To Blog And Not Lose Your Job. Well worth a read in considering policy / approaches and what you do online way.

I’ve created a page for WordPress MultiUser (WMPU) themes, they work differently to regular WP1.5 themes and here you can see what’s available in all it’s glory!

The idea is that if people develop new themes they can drop me a comment there and I’ll post a thumbnail and a link so people can decide which themes to install.
