Recent Efforts

A very useful videoblogging timeline (to January 2005) has been maintained by Peter Van Dijck, it is available at:

http://www.me-tv.org/wakka.php?wakka=VideoBloggingTimeline

The videoblogging email list currently has over 600 members and averages over 400 messages a week. The most significant recent developments (and by recent I mean in the last six months) are the development and release of beta versions of a video blog aggregator for OS X and Windows (ANT), vloggercon05 in New York City, and the development of videoblogging.info. In addition FreeVlog (Hodson and Verdi, 2005) has been published to help new video bloggers come to grips with basic capture, compression and embedding techniques.
