Yeh yeh, I know, I should know better but I’m a Windows user… like most people… and y’know sometimes it can be quite cool.
For example, this has got to be the easiest batch image resizing app (.exe) I’ve come across, and it’s free, and did I mention it’s easy.
Just select your files, right click and resize away.

i usually use fireworks for this, but if i’m on the road, can run Fookes Thumbnailer (also free) from a usb stick. once you’ve set it up, it also creates optimised files from a right click. fookes.com/ezthumbs/
