Web 2.0 eHub, Writeboard etc.

with 2 comments

George Siemens pointed out eHub, a comprehensive list of Web 2.0 apllications and tools.

eHub is a constantly updated list of web applications, services, resources, blogs or sites with a focus on next generation web (web 2.0), social software, blogging, Ajax, Ruby on Rails, location mapping, open source, folksonomy, design and digital media sharing.

Top of the list there is
Writeboard
somehow similar to Writely, but with version management and version comparison / auditing feature [Sam pointed out Writely also have the similar functionalities. Thanks Sam]. Cool!

[Upadated] Soon I need to take a closer look at these 2 apps and write a post.

  1. Hi,

Just wanted to note – Writely also has version management and comparison tools…look under the “versions” tab in the editor.

  2. I’ve tried both and while Writeboard may be simpler, I find Writely a lot easier to use, especially with non-tech partners – BTW, lovely photo on your blog :-)
