How to add Flickr Slideshow in your Blogpost or site

with one comment

No rocket science – just few simple steps.

  • Login to your Flickr account
  • Find out the variable of your user ID. It’s easy –
  • Go to “Your Photos”
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will see the Feed Icon (Subscribe to ’s photos)
  • Click on it – you will reach the XML page
  • From the URL of the page – you will get your user ID
  • It should look like this

http://api.flickr.com/services/feeds/photos_public.gne?id=96844826@N00&format=rss_200
That means your user ID is 96844826@N00

Next – copy paste this code in your Blog post or blog or any webpage

<iframe xsrc= "http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=(user ID)"></iframe>

Replace (user ID) with Your User ID! The code should look like this :

<iframe xsrc= "http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=96844826@N00"></iframe>

Bingo – you are ready! :-)

You can also add ‘Tag’ to pick specific photos from your Flickr album – like this

    <iframe xsrc= "http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?user_id=96844826@N00&tags=Bali"></iframe>

Here goes my photos with the Tag – ‘Bali’
