Monitoring, monitoring, monitoring…

Anyone know a decent desktop (XP) feed reader that you can set to actually go out and check feeds minute by minute?

Am thinking of those tweets / forums posts that you really need to know about a couple of minutes after they’re made.

As opposed to 4 hours later (grr..)

Oh, God, I hope not. I can’t imagine what kind of hammering that would entail to poor servers, were it widely used. Seems like a great way to get an IP blocked, though.

Does make me wonder if Twitter could be made to push Jabber IMs…

I don’t need to worry much about getting banned as it’s Edublogs forums feeds I’m after ;)

I did wonder if it could hook into Twitter for extra quick SMS gratification tho!

I still like my GreatNews and I get forum feeds whenever I set the timer (usually every ten minutes

(This color scheme is nearly unreadable)

And the winner is… Sharpreader http://www.sharpreader.net/ (although GreatNews looks promising)
