Good on the Socceroos (guffah)! Now if only someone could point out to them that the World Cup is a *soccer* tournament, not a rugby match, things would be right in the world ;-) Still, given that they could face Switzerland, Korea or Fance in the round of 16, who knows, maybe the quarters aren't that implausible ;-)

Dude, I think its awefully Australian to follow your home land, as well as Australia. So, congrats on Englands win last night and I will be back tomorrow to celebrate the mighty Socceroos first victory in the world cup!

Molly
PS. How did England go in the Rugby Union tonight? ;-)

While it looks like theoretically the two could meet in the final (http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/bracket.html) [snort!!] someohow I don't think you have to worry about it too much ;-) Though who am I to talk, our lowly national team didn't even qualify. Go Brazil!! ;-)
