Powazek RSS

I’m trying to get rid of all my email subscriptions and as I get Powazek by RSS I figured that could go first… but alas & alak I only get summaries through the Just a Thought RSS feed :o(

Don’t know why people do this… full content email and then summaries by RSS? Any chance of a change?

  1. I don’t know if you’ve tried getting your email feeds through Bloglines, but it works quite well. I realize it doesn’t directly solve your problem, but it has done the trick for a couple of my listserv subscriptions.

  3. I don’t know what you mean by email, as I don’t email my entries.

    I prefer to only include excerpts in RSS, because I don’t want my content to appear elsewhere in totality. If someone wants to excerpt it in a rss reader or on a website, that’s fine, so long at there’s a link to the rest. But if I had full content in the feed, then what’s the point of the website?

    I make a website, first and foremost. The RSS is icing.

    Not that I’m whinging (hey, it’s your site, I read DFC :o) but generally stuff that goes to POWlist also goes on your blog (or is it vica verca?)

    I know what you’re saying though about it being a website rather than an RSS feed and also about the complete reposting… it’d be cool to have an RSS CC license that dealt with that, I’d probably use it.

    I would’ve though the RSS was more the flour tan the icing!
